Our Mission
Americleft will ensure that practice-based evidence is available to cleft/craniofacial centers and families affected by clefting, to choose treatment approaches associated with best outcomes of importance to them.
Americleft activities are carried out by six Work Groups:

Patient/Parent Focused
Each Work Group will focus activities on two primary programs:
Outcome Development Program - The primary responsibility of this program will be to develop, pilot test, refine, and retest new and existing outcome measures.
Clinical Audit Facilitation Program - The role of this program will be to help cleft/craniofacial teams with the steps they would need to take in order to enable clinical audits of their own outcomes and to benchmark them compared to peers.
